The photographers at KayPhoto4u Personal Art Wedding Photography

The team

Karin (Kay), Leon, and Priscilla—the core team at KayPhoto4u Personal Art Wedding—have been working together in this configuration since 2010, specializing in wedding photography and videography. To expand our capabilities, we welcomed the talented Kees to our team in 2024, and creative genius Martijn joined our ranks in 2026. Behind the scenes, you might also run into our powerhouse and whiz kid, Rick.

Starting in 2026, in addition to their many photo shoots in the Netherlands, Karin and Leon will also be focusing on weddings in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. We’re seeing a growing demand in Germany for alternatives to traditional wedding photography, and thanks to our fluency in German, we want to make our photography services available to couples in our neighboring countries as well.

In short, the common thread among what the average KayPhoto4u Friend (as we like to call our clients) has in mind boils down to “We’re looking for something different.” Many couples choose KayPhoto4u because they know they can just be themselves. Our photographers perfectly capture each couple’s unique personality and their natural ability to be “chill” or not in front of the camera. We trust and care for one another, just as you’d expect from a friend. That’s what makes every collaboration truly special.

Just be yourself, so we can show it

That’s why you’ll see so many different kinds of photos on our website. They always reflect the couple themselves and aren’t necessarily the result of our own insistence on capturing the “perfect” shot. From a couple goofing around five minutes before they get married in the ceremony hall of the wedding venue, to a couple sharing an intimate, tender moment together. From a bottle of champagne being popped to celebrate the day, to a beautiful smile or tear from a beloved guest. Everyone is different, and we love to capture that in our photos.

Our photographers will also capture candid shots of the lovely people who make your wedding day unforgettable, just as you know them. No overly staged poses—unless, of course, we notice that these guests really enjoy it. Then we’re happy to let loose with them!
